About Us

My Crooked Lines Aerial Media is an owner-operated creative practice grounded in faith, experience, and care for place.

I am an FAA Part 107–certificated small Unmanned Aerial System (sUAS/drone) pilot, with more than 39 years of commercial aviation experience and over 18 years of professional photography work. Over time, that foundation expanded into web design, content creation, and social media, allowing me to help tell stories not only through images, but through how those images are presented and shared.

My Catholic faith means everything to me, and it shapes how I approach my work—especially when serving parishes, families, and communities. Sacred spaces deserve reverence, people deserve respect, and perspective should be offered thoughtfully, never intrusively. Every flight is planned carefully, conducted legally, and guided by a deep sense of responsibility to both safety and meaning.

I live in Southeastern Indiana with my son, who is a sophomore in college, and our dog, Doc—named for the Angelic Doctor, Saint Thomas Aquinas. This is a small, personal practice by design, rooted in stewardship, trust, and the belief that even imperfect lines, when seen from the right perspective, can reveal something true and beautiful.
